Day 3

Day 3 - yellow! I can say I have never had yellow nails. Never really go for that color and most of my yellows are so pale, it's boring. But, I did pick up Bananappeal from the SinfulShine line and I just love it! I didn't want to just paint them yellow. I was inspired by the awesome shade to do a little nail art. Ok, it's not my best work, but I'm still learning. Poor Homer looks a little wonky, but hey, it's all for fun:)

Day 2

Again, delayed. I was half way finished with this post last, then, I fell asleep. It's been that kind of week so far. Anyways, day 2 was orange. I didn't have to get fancy with it but I found a new color that kicks butt! I picked up a couple of the Sinful Colors, SinfulShine polishes the other day and this cutie was one of them. Man, so far I'm loving this line from them. Patent Pleasure is a beautiful sheer shimmer that's very build able. It's hard to capture how pretty it is. I would say in natural light, it is a tangerine prance with pretty gold shimmer. These were done with 2 coats. And yes, no need for a top coat. These pretties have a wicked shine. If you are interested in trying the SinfulShine line, now is a great time to pick a couple up. Walgreens is running a sale on them for $2. Normally, they are $2.99. Plus they released some new colors that are super cute!

Day 1- (delayed) Red nails

Yesterday was a super busy day but I did find time to do the first day of Chalkboard Nails 31 day challenge. Day 1 was red! I was surprised how little red I have. But I chose my favorite red and one of my favorite polishes. Hey Sailor from the China Glaze Anchors Away 2011 spring line. I adore that collection! HS is so ..... I don't know. I can't put my finger on it. Such a pretty bright , nautical red. But not too bright. Beautiful shine. Looks a little jelly to me. Anyways, I was in a retro, nautical mood yesterday so I added a cute little anchor stamp as accent nails. Luckily my stamper plate was not doing what I wanted, and it came out cute and vintage looking.
